Temporary tattoo at acacia ridge party in the park

This event was organized by the city council via Plan C. Plan C is a group of people consisting of an architect, film maker, community development worker and a few other exceptionally talented middle class nearly grown up people who help the community by organizing for the community to liaise with the Governrment about their needs- How empowered is that!- They look really cool and groovy in thier natural fabrics with their coloured hair and flash degrees (no NOT jealous ;).. They formed a company and work holistically for employers who can afford to pay them. Goodness! It's as much as I can do to get a job.
Although I am not a fan of tattoos - In the subculture of the background I come from they meant something- something tough, and you would be expected have certain skills to go with them. Skills such as biting the heads off budgies (or gold fish), carrying weapons... You get the drift. So I am very surprised that having a temporary tattoo can be so enjoyable- and it can be removed with metho. If it were real I presume I'd need to drink the metho.
Anyway, I went to the Acacia Ridge Party in the Park in a work role and the lovely Laura from the Youth support service used her compressor and ink to give me this beautiful addition to my forearm. When I think of a tattoo on my own skin I always skip immediately to the time in life when you will have to unfold the skin and hold in taunt to see the picture and that seems to quell any desire to have something permanently on my body. "And here boys and girls is a picture of the bird"
